This mountain breed of beef cattle originates from the Massif Central in France. The Aubrac is a muscular animal of medium size, tan in color
(from earth yellow to camel or from sienna to tawny) and with long horns. A tough, hardy breed, it has a high resistance to disease and is
adaptable, versatile and frugal. The Aubrac is prized for its easy calving, longevity and high fertility rates. The cattle is reared for the quality of its dense and flavoursome meat.
