Limousin

This large golden red cattle is native of the Massif Central in France. A hardy and sturdy breed, Limousin can adapt to most climates. They are prized for their ability to convert feed into meat quickly and for the excellent quality of their lean and tender meat. Limousin display excellent fertility, easy calving and good maternal abilities. They are also favoured for crossbreeding with cattle such as Angus and Hereford.
